The founding insight.
The pharmaceutical industry has solved some of the hardest problems in human biology. It has developed therapies for cancers that were once untreatable, for rare diseases that were once invisible, for chronic conditions that were once unmanageable. The science works.
But the pathway from approval in Europe or Australia to availability in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, or Latin America is not automatic. It requires local regulatory registration, commercial infrastructure, and the organisational focus to see it through — capabilities most global companies do not maintain in-house for every market.
